Events | 27 April 10am – 5pm Loddon Lily and Cream Tea Sunday

27th April 2024

Come and see the reserve carpeted with Loddon lilies, our beautiful wetland loving plants that flower for about six weeks in spring.

We are open 10am – 5pm, and serving cream teas, cakes and refreshments between 2pm – 5pm, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy this gem by the Thames. Find out more about our flora, fauna and boat building heritage. Entry is free, and there’s no need to book. Cards, honey and other lovely things to buy.

Entry to the reserve is free – but donations are welcome.

P.P.S. To protect wildlife and habitats, dogs (other than assistance dogs) are not allowed on the reserve. They are welcome at the study centre side if kept under control and on a lead.

A soft underfoot path with trees just coming into leaf, leads into the main reserve. All is calm on a spring day, with the joy of walking through the reserve ahead.
