A soft underfoot path with trees just coming into leaf, leads into the main reserve. All is calm on a spring day, with the joy of walking through the reserve ahead.

Join us today at our last Loddon Lily Sunday of the 2025 season. Open 10am – 5pm.

We have wonderful places to sit, and the reserve is looking glorious. With the warm Spring, it’s possible that only a few Loddon lilies will be in bloom, but it’s an opportunity to see the next stage of their lifecycle as their seedheads form. It’s an ideal chance to ask our warden Pete what happens to these energy storehouses later in the season! Bring a picnic and refreshments and make a day of it.
