In partnership with The Goring Gap Festival and the Owl Conservation Project.
Visit the reserve and meet some of our local owl species face-to-face, in association with The Owl Conservation Project. Learn all about how owls hunt, discover conservation efforts, and have a go at pellet dissection. There’s time to enjoy a peaceful stroll around the reserve too.
Suitable for all ages.
Booking information
Tickets: Free (ticket required)
To ensure the owls have a rest period, we are welcoming visitors in two time slots:
Session 1 (60 places): 12:00 – 13:30pm
Session 2 (60 places): 14:30 – 16:00pm
Please book a free ticket at The Gap Festival’s website for your preferred session.
Your patience during the crossover between sessions is greatly appreciated.
Light refreshments available to buy at the Study Centre opposite.

Important event information
This is a free event, but a ticket booked in advance is required.
All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Parking is very limited. We strongly encourage visitors to car share, walk, or cycle where possible. A limited number of parking spaces can be reserved in advance by emailing info@withymead.org.
Owl Conservation Project | The Goring Gap Festival
To protect wildlife and habitats, dogs (other than assistance dogs) are not allowed on the reserve. They are welcome at the study centre side if kept under control and on a lead.
