Events | 28 June 2pm – 5pm Cream Tea Sunday
28th June 2026
A wonderful day for cream teas, cakes and refreshments served between 2pm – 5pm. Enjoy the reserve as t heads into its blowsy summery best. There are bees to butterflies and birds to beetles, and not forgetting moss, bark, reed beds and peeks at our beautiful river Thames and the vestiges of Samuel Saunders boatyard.
Teas are served from the Study Centre with seating in the Oak Grove. Remember to stop by the welcome shelter where you’ll find our Wardens, more information about the reserve and things to buy.
Entry to the reserve is free – but donations are welcome.
P.S. To protect wildlife and habitats, dogs (other than assistance dogs) are not allowed on the reserve. They are welcome at the study centre side if kept under control and on a lead.
