Free Easter holiday children’s workshops at Withymead on Sunday 7 April 10am – 5pm at our first open day of the season!

Families are invited to bring their little explorers to Withymead. Ten ladybirds are hiding on the reserve and Pete the warden needs your help to find them. Pick up a map and identification guide on arrival, take a walk along our paths and let us know where you’ve found them. What better way to start spring than learning all about our native ladybirds and how you can help record them. No need to book, just show up on the day. Light refreshments available. Entry to the reserve is free, donations are welcome.

It’s also the first day of our Loddon lily open season, and our signature flower is blooming. The perfect time to visit!

P.S. To protect wildlife and habitats, dogs (other than assistance dogs) are not allowed on the reserve. They are welcome at the study centre if kept under control and on a lead.
